Sunanda Sharma’s Anarkali Suit For Cannes Debut Has The Power To Fix Everything, See Pics

Sunanda Sharma’s debut at the 77th Cannes Film Festival 2024 was nothing short of a dream. Unlike other celebrities, the Punjabi singer took an unconventional route flaunting her culture in a traditional suit set. Known for her songs like Mummy Nu Pasand and Chandigarh ka Chhokra, Sunanda’s red carpet appearance is proof that nothing goes wrong with white and traditional to be specific.

For her Cannes debut, Sunanda opted for an exquisite ivory anarkali suit with a matching dupatta, showcasing the rich heritage of Punjab. Her heavily pleated kurta came with multiple layers, elegant full sleeves and solid patterns, adding an ethereal touch to her ensemble. She teamed the dreamy Anarkali kurta with sophisticated dhoti-style pants. Additionally, her dupatta with detailed embroidery work draped across her body enhanced the appeal of her look.

What further made heads turn was her perfect choice of accessories. Acing the styling game, she elevated the look with a maang tikka and a nose ring. Further, her pink glam makeup and loose tresses cascading down her back sealed the deal for her.

Besides gracing the red carpet at the prestigious event, the Meri Mummy Nu singer also performed her hit songs at the famous Bharat Parva. It is a celebration of Indian cinema and culture on a global platform. While speaking at the event, Sunanda expressed her delight saying, “I am truly honoured to have been a part of the Cannes Film Festival this year. Walking the red carpet, attending Bharat Parva, and sharing a private dinner with esteemed dignitaries were incredible opportunities. I am grateful for the chance to have represented Indian music and culture on such a prestigious platform.”

For her airport look, Sunanda decked up in a gorgeous white Victorian-style top with contrasting flared pants. An enchanting floral blazer in shades of black and white further accentuated her look. She accessorised her outfit with a pair of glares. Exuding class and swag, the singer posed for a candid frame while sitting inside the aeroplane.
