June 2024 is usually the big Apple WWDC time but this year many brands are looking to outshine the Cupertino-based giant. We have got a tasty lineup of phone launches confirmed for the Indian market this month and there is a nice variety to what these brands plan on bringing to the country. Vivo, Xiaomi and Realme are some of the big additions to the lineup and their power-grade devices will be hoping to appeal to the premiumisation of the smartphone market in India.

Big Phone Launches In India In June 2024

Vivo X Fold3 Pro

Vivo is entering the foldable market in India with the X Fold3 Pro. This is Vivo’s third-gen foldable in the market but its first for India. The Vivo X Fold3 Pro is launching on June 6 in the country.

It shows the company has seen its premium image mature thanks to the X90 and X100 series. The foldable X Fold3 Pro will have lots of exciting features that will pit itself against the OnePlus Open and Samsung’s wide array of Fold models.

Vivo claims its X Fold3 Pro is the lightest in its segment and promises a lot of segment-first which it feels could justify the premium focus. We will also have the Zeiss-Optics lenses that have shown their worth on the X-series. It will be exciting to see if Vivo can manage to upstage the other two foldable brands and offer people an appealing option. As for the pricing, Vivo X Fold3 Pro could launch for around Rs 1,40 lakh going by our estimates.

Xiaomi 14 Civi

Xiaomi entered the premium segment in a big way with the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra models this year with its Leica-engineered cameras. Now, the company wants to bring some of the premiumness to a new segment with the Xiaomi 14 Civi. This phone is launching on June 12 and we can surely expect some interesting features. The device sports a 120Hz AMOLED display as confirmed by teasers, and features a new kind of display in the segment. It will be getting a 50MP portrait camera with the Leica lens. We expect the phone to be powered by the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and possibly with up to 12GB RAM. Xiaomi 14 Civi is likely to come under Rs 50,000.

Realme GT 6

Realme GT 6T recently entered the Indian market and very soon we will see the Realme GT 6 version as well. The new phone is likely to pack the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset like the Xiaomi Civi 14 which means you are again looking at the supposed flagship killer device. The Realme GT 6 launch is on June 20 and rumours claim the phone will get a 5,500mAh battery with support for 120W charging speed and feature a Sony LYT-version camera sensor. Realme is likely to price the GT 6 at around Rs 40,000 which puts it in a competitive space.

OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite

OnePlus is likely to bring the Nord CE 4 Lite version which is the affordable variant of the CE 4 model. The new Nord phone is tipped to cost under Rs 20,000 and come with a 120Hz display and a premium-ish design even though it will have a plastic body. We still don’t have a launch date but OnePlus is rumoured to bring this phone in June to the country.
