Xiaomi is adding a new device to its 14 series in the Indian market this week and it has been confirmed to be the Xiaomi 14 Civi. The new Xiaomi phone is entering a price segment which has become less exciting for brands but Xiaomi 14 Civi promises to awaken a sleeping giant in many ways. This is also going to be Xiaomi’s first non-premium device to come with a Leica-engineered camera system as per the rumours. The launch in India has got people excited and here are the details, including its possible price tag in the country.

Xiaomi 14 Civi India Launch Timings And Where To Watch

Xiaomi 14 Civi India launch is on Wednesday, June 12, and the event starts at 12:00 PM. Xiaomi will be hosting a live stream of the event on its YouTube page and social channels where you can get all the exciting updates about the new phone.

Xiaomi 14 Civi Price In India and Features Expected To See

Xiaomi 14 Civi will be lining up alongside the Xiaomi 14 and the 14 Ultra models that have already launched in the country. Going by the rumours, Xiaomi 14 Civi is likely to feature a 6.55-inch AMOLED display offering 1.5K resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate screen that has 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 3000 nits of peak brightness.

This Xiaomi phone is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. You can expect the device to come with HyperOS out of the box and possibly multiple years of OS upgrades guaranteed.

However, the main highlight of the 14 Civi is going to be the cameras, and going by the teasers, it could be a handful. Xiaomi 14 Civi is rumoured to get a 50MP primary sensor with Leica Summilux lens, along with a 12MP ultra-wide sensor and a 50MP telephoto lens. It will be interesting to see how Xiaomi plans to offer its new premium phone in the market, and if the brand could actually go aggressive and bring it under Rs 45,000 so that more people can get a taste of its partnership with Leica for its high-end camera experience.
