Samsung is likely to unveil its much-awaited high-end devices — the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6 — at its Galaxy Unpacked Event in July. As the anticipation builds for the smartphones, its pricing has now leaked online and it suggests that the users might have to pay a significant sum to buy the new foldable from the brand.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Price Leak Details

According to a report by SmartPrix, the pricing for the upcoming Z Fold 6 will start at $1899.99 (Rs 1,58,800 approx) in the United States for the 256 GB variant, which is $100 (Rs 8,300 approx) higher than the Galaxy Z Fold 5. While the 512 GB and 1TB variants are likely cost $2019.99 (Rs 1,68,800 approx) and $2259.99 (Rs 1,88,900 approx) respectively.

The report also suggests that Samsung will be launching the Z Fold 6 in three colors i.e. Silver Shadow, Navy and Pink and it will weigh around 239 grams, which is slightly lighter than the previous model, the Z Fold 5 which was 253 grams.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Specifications Expected

Reportedly, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will come with a 7.6-inch inner display and a 6.2-inch cover display, which is quite similar to the Fold 5. Also, it might be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, as the previous version had a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Rumours suggest that Galaxy Z Fold 6 will get a 200 MP primary camera and expected to carry a 4400mAh battery with 25W charging.

Recently, several reports claimed that Samsung might also launch a cheaper version of a foldable phone, the Galaxy Fold FE (Fan Edition) along with Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. However, it seems the company could be dropping those plans for the time being and might launch the affordable foldable phone next year.

Samsung will have to pull up its socks in 2024 as the foldable competition is fierce than ever with brands like OnePlus, Huawei and Vivo showing their potential and tech innovations in the market.
