During the Samsung Unpacked Event in January earlier this year, the South Korean smartphone maker announced a host of new AI features under its Galaxy AI Umbrella. The Galaxy S24 series was the first to receive these features, but last month Samsung also announced that they would also be introducing Galaxy AI to its 2023 flagship devices, like the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy Z Flip.

Now, latest reports suggest that the smartphone maker has decided to add these major AI features to their even older flagship phones, including the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S22 series.

According to a report by 9to5Google, citing a post by a Samsung employee, the new AI feature will be equipped in all its flagship 2021 and 2022 smartphones. It was also reported that this feature will be available as soon as next month. The One UI 6.1 update, along with major AI features, will soon be available on other devices.

However, the Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy Tab S8 FE, and some other similar devices will not be eligible for the AI-feature update. The company has also revealed that even though the update will be there for its older flagship phones, they will not be able to support full-fledged AI features like the S24 series.
