A 56-year-old woman from the US state of Kentucky went on a killing spree on May 3, forcing her way into her sibling’s home and fatally shooting them. Angela Gosser drove to her brother Darryl Wilson’s house last Friday, where a shootout ensued, resulting in her death.

Preliminary investigations revealed that Gosser arrived at her brother’s residence in Jamestown armed with a firearm. She forced entry into the residence, leading to an exchange of gunfire between her and Wilson. Both sustained gunshot wounds, with Wilson being transported to the University of Kentucky Hospital for life-threatening injuries.

“On May 3, 2024, at approximately 7:00 P.M. CST, KSP Post 15 received a call from Pulaski County 911 requesting assistance locating a Ford F150 believed to be operated by Angela Gosser, age 56 of Russell Springs. Troopers responded to the Russell County to attempt to locate the vehicle. At approximately 7:24 P.M. CST, Russell County 911 contacted KSP Post 15 and requested investigative assistance with a deadly shooting incident that had occurred at a residence on South KY 619 in Russell County,” the Kentucky police said in a statement.

Gosser also succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased after the shootout. However, police revealed the full extent of Gosser’s crime spree when they responded to a welfare check at her sister Jennifer Wilson’s home. Concerned family members had been unable to reach Wilson. Upon arrival in Russell County, authorities discovered Jennifer Wilson in the driver’s seat of a Toyota Camry, deceased from apparent gunshot wounds to the head.

Local media reports said Gosser’s husband, Larry Gosser was also found shot and killed on Friday. Larry was a retired Sergeant with the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife after 16 years of service. Authorities informed the local TV station that Larry Gosser was fatally shot by his wife while working on a tree on his property in western Pulaski County.
